Peter Jones

Partner

Peter is a Partner in our personal injury team and has been qualified as a Solicitor for over 30 years. He has conducted personal injury claims for almost all of his career and is an APIL Fellow.

First and foremost, Peter sees himself as a hands-on Personal Injury specialist. He has a passion for achieving the best possible results for all of his clients in cases of all kinds. He recognises that the outcome of what may seem to be a modest claim to some may be life-changing to that individual.

Tony Hannington

Head of Personal Injury

Tony graduated from Nottingham University and the Chester College of Law. He undertook his training at the firm and following 25 years’ of service now oversees Lime Solicitors.

Vicky Blodwell

Partner

Vicky is a Partner at Lime Solicitors and has over 15 years experience in dealing with serious injury and major trauma cases, including traumatic brain injury (adult and child), spinal cord injuries and amputations.

Vicky has a proven track record for achieving excellent outcomes for her clients and building collaborative relationships with their families and rehabilitation teams. Her focus is to access rehabilitation and financial support quickly to get the best medical care and therapy for her clients and put support in place for the whole family. She works tirelessly to ensure that everyone is working collaboratively to maximise the outcomes of her clients.

She is listed as a “Next Generation Lawyer” in the Legal 500, noted as being “outstanding, thoughtful, compassionate and genuinely cares about the outcomes” with a “sensible approach and first rate client care and communication skills”.

In addition to her legal expertise, Vicky has excellent links with the charitable sector, providing clients with specialist, wraparound support.

Martin Usher

Head of Serious Injury

Martin joined Lime Solicitors as a partner in May 2021, and has over 15 years’ experience in dealing with serious injury and major trauma cases including traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, complex musculoskeletal injuries and amputations.

Martin is a committee member for the Major Trauma Group, a not-for-profit community interest company, to assist major trauma victims. The philosophy of the group aligns with Martin’s views that the focus should be on ensuring that all required support and guidance is provided throughout the injured person’s journey.

Martin served over six years as a Trustee for Headway Southampton, including three years as Chair. Martin has recently taken up a position as a Trustee at Headway South West London and is listed on the solicitor directory for Headway UK.

Martin is a vocal advocate for diversity and inclusion and was one of the founding members of his previous firm’s Women in Leadership in Law group. In this regard Martin is driven by a firm belief that there should be equality of opportunity for all.
